Thanks in November - it's the 8th

I am thankful that my DH does our dishes pretty much daily (he IS the dishwasher), that he has such a great laugh, and that he gifts me with hugs quite often.

Things to Do Around Tucson!

Tucson Fiber Finds:

The Fox Theatre - Beautifully restored; featuring current movies and concerts as well as cinema treasures from the past!!

The Gaslight Theatre - High Melodrama (Cheers!! Boo-hiss!!), oleos, Grandma Tony's Pizza and wicked-good Ice Cream goodies. MUST be experienced!!

Loft Cinema - All sorts of interesting things turn up here - but they don't stay long (Well, except for The Rocky Horror Picture Show every weekend) ...have a look.

Arizona Opera - has a very nice season coming up!

Local Treasures:
(Many offer concerts, classes and trips - check 'em out!)
World Renown, our Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum should be visited in each season.

Also World Renown, our Saguaro National Parks. Lovely.

Our very own Tucson Botanical Gardens. Aside from being a lovely place to visit/lunch - They have some excellent classes and the annual Butterfly Exhibit.

Tohono Chul Park - explore the park! Lunch at the Tea Room or, heck, have High Tea! They have spiffy classes too!

Things to Do Somewhere OTHER than Tucson!!
Visit (Yes, stay overnight) and support: Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in the majestic red-rock country of Southern Utah!

Tubac - Tubac is a lovely town south of Tucson that is home to many artisans. If you can, attend Tubac Festival of the Arts!

Apple Annie's in Wilcox - Pick apples or peaches at the orchard or veggies at the Produce & Pumpkins. Don't forget to have some pie and cider while you're there!!
